Bensalem Township School District is seeking to hire an Intervention Specialist K-6 to provide tiered reading and/or mathematics interventions to students. A Reading Specialist certification is preferred.  This is a long term substitute position for the 2024-25 school year.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Title I Interventionist
• Data Collection and Analysis
• MTSS Process Facilitation
• Collaboration & Communication

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience with RTI/MTSS framework
• Experience with data management system for progress monitoring and assesment

Required Skills:

• Valid Reading Specialist Certificate
• And one of the following K-6 Elementary certification or K-4 Elementary & 4-8 Elementary Certification
• Strong understanding of evidence-based intervention strategies for literacy and math.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a mutidisciplinary team and with diverse student population.
