Bensalem Township School District is hiring substitute secretaries. A Substitute secretary fills in for the absence of a regular secretary.  They can work anywhere throughout the School District including our school buildings, Maintenance Office, Vehicle Maintenance Center and the District Office. 

 

• Substitute secretaries answer phone calls.
• Greets visitors courteously, determines their needs, answers their question and directs or escorts them to the proper person.
• Operates office machines/equipment as necessary.
• May be requested to do filing for the department
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Most substitute secretaries become regular staff members when vacancy opportunities present themselves.  Candidates must be able to pass the secretarial test prior to hire and be familiar with Excel software.
